Downtown Fayetteville and areas to the south toward Hope Mills only had a trace of snow, while there was accumulation on the north side of Fayetteville like your 1.5" around Eastover and 2" in Stedman. A narrow band of heavier snow set up between Raleigh and Fayetteville creating those higher totals in northern Cumberland County and has much as 4.5" in Harnett County.Lee Ringerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07193468620120459662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28139052.post-88322723123045992622010-03-03T08:00:19.136-05:002010-03-03T08:00:19.136-05:00You reported only a trace of snow in Fayetteville,...You reported only a trace of snow in Fayetteville, but here in Eastover (with Fayetteville literally down the street), we got at least 1.5" of snow on the grass. Where in Fayetteville do they measure the snowfall amounts? Of course, with 60 square miles, I guess it could be much different in north Fayetteville than south Fayetteville. Just wondering!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
