The Storm Prediction Center (http://www.spc.noaa.gov/) has placed our area of North Carolina under a "slight risk" for severe weather this Sunday afternoon. Combine an approaching front with the heat and humidity of the day, and a few scattered thunderstorms this afternoon could get a little strong.
