What a beautiful sight! The above picture was taken from a webcam around 8am this morning in the Shining Rock Wilderness area of western North Carolina. The view is looking toward a snow covered Cold Mountain.A few snow flurries were reported in the Triangle around midday Wednesday, but all the accumulating snow stayed in the mountains.
