Tropical Depression #1 is hanging on early this morning in the Atlantic but has not been able to strengthen into a tropical storm. That is not looking likely at this point as it continue to track east-northeast across cooler ocean waters. It is likely the system will weaken over the next 24 hours, and it will not impact any land areas.The 2009 Atlantic hurricane season officially begins Monday, June 1.
